Fold Line Tee Mystery Sale
Mystery Fold Line Tee Sale
This is a chef’s choice deal where you select your shirt size. The fold line tee variation will be a mystery (Please see examples of variation in listing photos.)
THE LORE:
Long ago we got a batch of lavender Comfort Color tees that sat around for a while and developed fading marks where the fabric creased. We put them aside for a long time thinking one day we would do something with them.. Eventually we had the idea to try and fade the color of the shirts thinking it might even the color out. After a big production of holding up a bathtub with a reach fork and making a fire pit out of an old washing machine basket, a dozen boxes of Rit Color Remover, several hours of boiling and stirring, we discovered that this process only made the faded fold lines more prominent. We were back to the drawing board with several more days of experimentations including, but not limited to leaving shirts in the sun, out white bright, making wood cutouts of characters and spraying bleach around them. After spending some time with these “defective” tees we realised that the fold lines were growing on us and they were all unique and kinda beautiful. Why keep fussing with a unique good thing, so we stopped!
I don’t regret our experiments because those shirts feel extra worn in, like a cool vintage shirt.
The designs:
We brought back our sold out “Beautiful Planet” print just for this series because we felt complimented the background variations and love how the design interacts with the fold lines. You will also find some of our wood stenciled bleach shirt designs in the mix.
We are selling these at a discount because:

There might be minor holes or stains in the shirt from the experimentation journey
